SUPPORT GROUPS:

Can't find a support group in your area? Many groups now offer virtual meetings via Zoom or other platforms, and are open to participants from any location. Visit our list of Virtual Support Groups for more information.

Atlanta: Deceased Pet Care Funeral Home. Our group meets the first Tuesday of every month from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Free to all pet parents on a drop in basis, no need to register. Come and share your story, or just listen and receive support from others who understand what it means to lose a pet. We will explore the grief process and learn ways to move forward in a meaningful way that pays tribute to your beloved pet. Together we can get through the grieving process and begin the recovery process. Atlanta/Decatur: Paws, Whiskers & Wags nows offer a Virtual Pet Loss Support Group with bi-monthly sessions via Zoom to allow for better accessibility for all the families we serve in Georgia and North Carolina. There are currently 15 spots available per session, and you must RSVP to reserve a space. Click the "RSVP" button on the site to reserve your space. Support Group dates are the First Tuesday of the Month (7pm – 8:15pm) and the Third Tuesday of the Month (4pm – 5:15pm).
